LECTURE: Saturday, July 18 Copake Falls Day annual Robin Bruce Memorial Talk by Jim Mackin on the Ancram Iron Works of 1743 at 11 am at RJHS.

Sunday, July 26 – Workshop(s): Send it Like a Schuyler: Letter Folding & Wax Seal by Mitch Mondello

from 1:00 to 1:45 PM(Note Two "Send it Like a Schuyler" worshops will take place on July 26th)

and after museum hours from   4:15 to 5:00 pm at RJHS.

Sunday, August 2 - Site Visit to 1731 Tri State Marker – 2 PM  Falcetti, Osofsky, Peck, Haas  2 – 4 pm.

 

Sunday, August 9 – Presentation: The Chapter One: "Boundaries from South Taconic Stories by Dan Haas" from 2 -4PM  at RJHS.

 

Sunday, August 16 – Site Visit to Mill Success at Pumpkin Hollow in Taghkanic with host Carolyn Wheeler starting at 2:30 to 4 pm.

Sunday, August 23 – Presentation/Site Visit: Columbia Turnpike and Toll Gates – Peter Cipkowski. This includes a brief Site Visit to East Gate Toll House on Rte. 23 in Hillsdale.  2 to 4 pm at RJHS and East Gate.

Sunday, August 30 – Site Visit: to Historic Hillsdale which includes a visit to both the Parla Foster House with Chris Atkins and Carrie Herrington, proprietor/ and the Hillsdale House with owners, Carmen & Cory Barbato. 2 -4 pm.

 

Sunday, September 6 – Site Visit: Nobletown Fiber Works in Hillsdale with proprietor, Lewis Cleale from 2 to 4 pm.

Sunday, September 13 – Presentation: Lost & Found: The Middle Gate Toll House by Chris Atkins from 2 to 4 pm at RJHS.

 

Sunday, October 18 – Presentation: Revolutionary War Vets of Hillsdale by local historian Jeanne Keifer from 2 to 4 pm at RJHS.

Sunday, October 25 – Site Visit to Gallatin Church & Revolutionary War Vets in churchyard by Louisa Ruby, Melissa Curtis and Bob Rogoshewski from 2 to 4 pm.
