The Van Deusen Collection

 

Jim Luedke, a descendant of the Van Deusen, Smith, and Niver families, contacted the RJHS in February 2016. He wrote: “After many decades we are liquidating our house in the Boston area and have some artifacts from Hillsdale and Copake and contemplate donating them to the Roeliff Jansen Historical Society.”

The fascinating  story of the very old and well documented Van Deusen Family of Hillsdale, provided the basis for one of the Society's most fascinating family collections!
